SSCS 2013

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas day, 

my family and I had an excellent day, 

lots of laughs, good company and great food

and no dishes to do!

got up early and went for my morning walk, 

so glad I did...

presents were opened and this is my beautiful present from Ana Maria

a beautiful dresden plate cushion cover is glorious colours that suit my lounge to a T!

(just need to get a bigger cushion insert than I have)

and a lovely wall hanging for next Christmas...

thank you so much Ana Maria, 

your presents are very much appreciated, I love them.

tis Christmas Eve once again, 

where has the year flown to? 

This time tomorrow the big guy in the red suit would of been, 

time to spend with family and friends, 

laughter and fun times...

Christmas decorating

well with Christmas almost upon us, 

here is my decorating for this year, 

a bit understated as I haven't had the time to bring everything out...

 Santa group by the front door

 Snowmen and trees on the other side of the front door

 more Santa's in the lounge

 the hutch with snowmen and HollyAnna and some fairy lights for night

 putting the coonara to good use for cards and some small trees

and two of my favourite stitcheries

 the tree in silver and purple, 

with the lights flashing blue and red

and with the lights flashing green and orange

finish off my

anyway I've started on the Farmers Wife,

my mojo seems to have left me today...

so many things I could be doing, that I'm not...

there is plenty of stitching that needs doing,

but I have done none of it today...

maybe the weather is to blame...

34 degrees here in Melbourne, 

not used to it yet, 

thank goodness for AC!

anyway if you find my mojo, can you send it back to me?

I really need it!

instead I have been playing with my Christmas present to myself...

my new laptop...
